Upgrades 6. Brake Reservoir Sock

When you start getting into the Caterham community you realise that a leaking master cylinder (at the top where the screw cap goes) is a common thing, especially with an uprated cylinder. There are a few things people do to stop this.

The R pack actually came with a different cap and some bellows, which when used unfortunately mean the light for low brake fluid will stop working, which I don't like the idea of. These however are better than the standard caps and apparently don't leak, but I'm not planning on using them for road use. I think it is advised that these are used and swapped for the track though.

With a bit of searching around you will find that you can get special brake and clutch cylinder socks, which basically mop up and leaks that happen before the fluid touches any paint work and then causes it to blister and bubble. So I ended up grabbing a Brembo sock from here. Of course and microfibre cloth would suffice but I'd come this far giving everything the best parts it could so why change for something like this.

I used 2 zip ties to secure it such that any leaks should get picked up by the sock before anything else.
